CLIA
Holidays Beckon is an individual member of CLIA (Cruise Lines International Assoc), the official representing body of the cruise industry, and has attained Master accreditation.
This is currently the highest level of certification awarded by CLIA , demonstrating my commitment to being a 'cruise specialist' thereby assisting my clients with high level cruise advice & sales.
CATO
The CATO Touring Academy is a certification programme for travel agents eager to master the art of selling land-based holidays around the globe and become certified touring specialists.
This certification demonstrates my commitment to ongoing training and certification.
Certificate III in Travel
Holidays Beckon has attained a Certificate III in Travel from Open Colleges. This nationally recognised qualification is for  travel consultants within the domestic & international travel industry.
Aussie Specialist Agent
The Aussie Specialist program run by Tourism Australia has been designed to equip agents with relevant information and showcase destinations and experiences within Australia.
Australian Outback: Northern Territory
This course was compiled by Tourism NT, focusing on the unique selling points for visitors to the area. From the capital city of Darwin through Litchfield, Kakadu, Arnhem Land, Katherine, Alice Springs &Â Uluru, the course highlights all that the NT has to offer.
Wellness Travel & Thailand
The Global Wellness Institute defines wellness tourism as travel associated with the pursuit of maintaining or enhancing one’s personal wellbeing. This course was an introduction to wellness tourism & an overview of wellness retreats in Thailand.
Rocky Mountaineer
Holidays Beckon has achieved certification as a Rocky Mountaineer specialist. This training ensures I can provide clients with expert advice & knowledge on the various products & services available. I have also personally travelled on the Rocky Mountaineer.
Swiss Travel System Expert
Through the Swiss Travel System Excellence Expert e-learning program, I learned how to make the most of Switzerland’s extensive transport network, allowing me to confidently and professionally coordinate my clients travel throughout Switzerland.
European River Cruising
Compiled by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), this course covers the European River Cruise market, dissecting the unique features of the various rivers and the ships that journey along them.
World River Cruising
Compiled by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), this course illustrates how each river personality creates tailored experiences and demonstrates some of the nuances & logistics featured throughout. Rivers include the Mekong, Yangtze, Nile, Mississippi, Amazon, Ganges, Irrawaddy, Chobe & more!
Expedition Cruising pt. 1
The course covers the Expedition Experience, dissecting the unique features of expedition vessels, the people attracted to this segment, and the unique onboard environment and activities.
Expedition Cruising pt. 2
This is the 2nd part of the CLIA Expedition Cruise training, with a focus on the destinations and immersive experiences that await my clients on these unforgettable journeys.
G Adventures Nat. Geo. Specialist

South Africa Specialist

A-ROSA is a market leader of premium European river cruising, celebrating its 20th birthday in 2022. They cruise on the Danube, Rhine, Main, Moselle, Seine, Rhône/Saône & Douro Rivers.
Holland America Line
As a graduate of Holland America Line Academy, Holidays Beckon can provide expert advice and guidance on cruising in Alaska & the Yukon.
Having travelled on Holland America Line within this region, and undertaken a few shore excursions, I have also gained personal experience to share.
MSC Cruises Master
This certification is awarded to agents who have successfully completed the MSC Cruises Master online training course, designed to provide agents with insights into MSC Cruises ships, features, destinations, onboard experiences and more.

Quark Expeditions are polar expedition experts and are the only cruise company focused exclusively on the Arctic and Antarctic.
By successfully completing their training Modules I am now a certified Quark Expeditions Specialist.
